NEW: Master craftsman H. Neureiter has recently worked over our Piccolos – refined intonation and sound-optimized pitches. Professional musicians considered the innovations “revolutionary”.
At the beginning, the Piccolo flute assumed in an orchestra the task of imitating shrill noise, like for example the whistling of a storm or lightning. However, it didn´t take long till the composers recognized the value of this instrument and the Piccolo became a “full” member of the orchestra. Until today, the “little brother” has not lost its importance and each flutist should also be able to call one copy their own.
